Georgia Street Update 5
Here is the latest news from the Georgia Street project. I stopped after classes last night for just a moment to snap a couple of pictures. I feel like this update is almost symbolic of the the struggle that has become the Georgia Street overhaul. The City, over the past month, has made a public push to rename Georgia Street. It has been covered in many local media outlets, so it is not worth spending … Read entire article »

Georgia Street Update 3
As promised, when significant visual changes occur, I will be here to post some new photographs showing the changes. I stopped by on 4/26/2011 and snapped a few photos in the late afternoon of the latest progress. Once there is more significant progress, I will post … Read entire article »

Taken together, the Cultural Trail and the Georgia Street makeover prove that Indianapolis is on the … Read entire article »

Georgia Street Plan
Most readers are probably already aware of the plan to reconfigure Georgia Street, but if you haven’t seen it, take a look here. It’s a fine idea, as the street has little auto traffic, and the pedestrian environment downtown could certainly use a place that serves as an outdoor room. I hope it can be successful long past the Super Bowl. … Read entire article »
