Kirsten Eamon-Shine
I am a youth program director, an adventurous eater, and an advocate for a better Indianapolis. I’ve lived here almost all of my life and love this town, but I’m excited about all the ways we can be better. I see transit, infrastructure and effective economic development initiatives as essential tools for building a more livable and equitable community. But I also like to think about the more frivolous aspects of city life – enjoying Indianapolis has to be one of the best ways to improve it, after all. In my spare time, I love hanging out with my husband and cat who can sit and shake on command, as well as helping out with a variety of community efforts including the Tonic Ball & Gallery, Catalyst X-Change and Spirit and Place Festival.
