*Scratches head* — It’s on MONDAY!?! It’s on a work day? Or do most people get the day off because Sunday is the holiday day?
Oh, and the forecast is windy, high of 29, mostly cloudy.
Yeah, most everyone I know has Monday off since the holiday is on the weekend.
Most, if not all government jobs are closed and a lot of businesses or office type jobs have the day off as well. As of yesterday there were over 600 pre-registered. That is a pretty good number for a city where “no body” rides in the winter.
Great turn out for an unusually cold day this winter. Lots of people advocating for cycling in Indy including Mayor Ballard, Indycog, Freewheelin’ Community Bikes, Bike Hub, Urban Indy Folks and many more. I think we found a great annual event to start each year!
